Fluorescent pigment is a pigment based on thermosetting resin. It has high tinting strength, strong fading resistance, fine particle size and strong solvent resistance. It is suitable for curved and gravure printing inks. Aqueous and non-aqueous systems such as inks, textile printing inks, crayon colorants, paints, aerosol paints, paints and spray paints, baking varnishes, plastisols, etc.

Dispersion and application:
Fluorescent pigments can in most cases be wetted in a dispersion solvent-type base or liquid resin with a vigorous agitation (high speed disperser). The paint is processed in this way and is suitable for spraying, brushing, rolling or scraping. For higher fineness, it should be processed by wet grinding, such as making ink.
Prosperous fluorescent pigments have strong solvent resistance and are suitable for various coatings and inks produced from nitrocellulose, polyvinyl chloride-acetate, polyamide, acrylate, chlorinated rubber and other resins. Oxidizing solvents such as aromatics, alcohols, esters and ketones. Mixing these solvents requires prior testing and formal use.
Note: Fluorescent pigment color migration is a problem, usually red pigment. When the surface of the coating contains a sufficient amount of plasticizer, the color shift will be very noticeable.
