According to different printing materials, choose different types of transparent substrates, such as printed metal materials, it is necessary to select metal-specific inks, such as printing PVC materials, it is necessary to select PVC-specific inks, the higher the transparency, the better the effect. For water-based paints and inks, the luminous powder must be treated with special microcapsules.

Resin and varnish: The resin selected should have good light transmission, and since the luminescent pigment is weakly alkaline, the resin is preferably neutral or weakly alkaline. Aqueous resins make water-based paints, and luminescent pigments require surface water resistance. Varieties of resin and varnish that can be selected: epoxy resin (E440), polyurethane resin (or varnish), amino varnish, polyester resin, acrylic resin, hydroxy acrylic resin, acrylic urethane varnish (two-component), light-colored alcohol Acid varnish, fluorocarbon resin, etc. Second, the choice of additives: auxiliaries in luminescent coatings mainly consist of dispersants and anti-settling agents, and heavy metal compounds cannot be used as auxiliaries. Glass or enamel-type containers should be used for the preparation of coatings. The particle size of the luminous powder should be as small as possible, the ratio is about 30-60%. When the coating is formulated, it should not be ground. The high-speed stirring method should be used. The relative specific gravity of the luminescent material is 3.6. ~4.0, it is easy to sink when formulating paint.
