In plastics, the amount of pearl powder added is generally from 0.5% to 2% (raw weight ratio of plastic resin). However, for thinner products and film products, it is necessary to have a higher addition amount, generally 5% to 8% (weight ratio of plastic resin), and sometimes higher than 10%.

Suggested addition amount:

We do not recommend the use of extremely high additions, because too much pearlescent pigment will make it not well oriented in the finished product, resulting in fading and fogging, but the pearlescent effect will not be fully reflected. For different processes and different plastic resins, it is necessary to use a test method to find the right amount of addition.
